XTEND BAR 45-55cm
We have developed a unique bar system which will allow you to use one bar for your whole range of kites. The XTEND bar switches from 45 to 55cm in under ten seconds. Epic kites are trimmed so that one bar will fit each size in either style, Screamer or Renegade. For a slower kite in wakestyle mode, use the 45cm setting. For a faster kite, set it to 55cm and megaloop that thing! The bar has a Push Away release system that will allow a safe exit for the rider in an emergency. This is a 4 line bar with the Easy Kill Switch System that will depower the kite if you bail during moves, hooked in or unhooked, and have the kite waiting to re-launch whenever you are ready.

As opposed to other bars using metal pieces, the Swivel Dome is assembled using only tough plastic and flexible materials which won’t corrode or breakdown. Using hi-tech safety systems and an innovative grip design, the EPIC bar is guaranteed to be the safest and most comfortable accessory to your kiting experience.

SDR (swivel Dome Release):
This original feature requires even less force to operate. The mechanism will unleash weights ranging from 54kg to 400kg with the same level of minimal effort. Once it is activated, it remains completely intact so no pieces are in danger of getting lost.

Swivel:
Makes any post kite loop line tangle so easy to straighten out that you won’t even notice it until afterwards.

Safety Ring:
Important safety measure to protect both the rider and your equipment by keeping you attached whenever the swivel dome release is activated. On 5-line while on the 4-line arrangements it connects to one of the depower lines. In both setups, the rider can be reassured that the kite will lose all power immediately.

Perploop System:
Very nice for riders who can’t get freestyle tricks off their mind, this advanced system prevents chicken loop twists during unhooked moves. Not to be forgotten, the flexible Chicken Loop will take it easy on fingers when returning to a hooked-in position
